Andy, was born in Sarasota, graduated from Sarasota High School in 1966 and from Western Carolina University in 1971 with a degree in business management. Andy served in the United States Army at Arlington Hall Station, Virginia. He began his insurance career with Arne Carlson Insurance in April of 1974. Andy has served on numerous community and state and national, international organizations focused primarily on youth activities within the community, public school, and church related settings. Andy and his wife Becky were married in 1973.

Ken, was born in Zanesville, Ohio graduating from high school in 1964 and from Florida State University in 1970 with a degree in Political Science. Ken began his insurance career with Arne Carlson Insurance in February of 1977 as a life & health agent becoming the agency’s commercial lines manager in 1979. Ken is a Life Director of the Manatee-Sarasota Building Industry Association as well as the Florida Home Builders Association.  Ken is married to Deborah Howard-Patton, ARNP and has two sons, Mathew and Daniel, along with five lovely grandchildren, all who live in Sarasota.
